So it's been a while since I've done this... exactly one year to be exact. I probably should keep up with this blog because there's probably a few people who'd appreciate that and yet... here we are. Another year down and another year with absolutely no posts... that is of course except for one. What would the end of the year be without a post consisting of me telling you about all the various songs I heard in the past 12 months and how they make me feel. Not much of a year, I'll tell you that much. 2011 was a funny year... a lot of bands that I really like put out records that did absolutely nothing for me (and you won't find any of those bands on these tapes). I found myself listening to a lot of weirder punk music as well as female fronted poppy punk/rock (so if neither of those things sound all that promising, I apologize but there's a decent amount of both represented here). Also, unlike previous years there was no album[s] that blew me away to the point that if someone asked me what my favourite record of the year was, I could point to them (which was most definitely the case in 2010). Regardless, as is typical, I came across a LOT of music and I liked a good chunk of it and so here we have another 3 volumes of songs for you to enjoy/not enjoy/discuss/whatever. Thanks for taking the interest in giving this a listen and never forget to support independent music.

Also a note, I had written a bunch of the words and uploaded photos but never got around to writing lil' blurbs on all the songs as I typically do but that usually takes a BUNCH of time so I decided to forego that step. However while I was in the process of deleting all the pictures, it fucked up the formatting/fonts/etc. so the presentation isn't as nice or uniform as I would have liked it but it will have to do. Maybe one day I'll go back and fix it... probably not.
